N-acetyl L-cysteine, or NAC, is an effective dietary supplement of the amino acid L-cysteine. It participates in the body e.g. important glutathione formation. According to studies, NAC has shown e.g. relief of hangover symptoms. However, it is worth remembering that it does not eliminate the disadvantages of excessive alcohol consumption.
