Lavender essential oil
Lavender essential oil
Lavender essential oil has a penetratingly fresh and fruity scent, with camphor-like nuances. Lavender calms the mind and body.
Already the ancient Romans scented their bath water with soothing lavender. It is said that people who work in lavender fields never suffer from headaches. Lavender balances fluctuating moods, calms the mind before going to bed and helps to balance the stomach. Note that lavender is not suitable for continuous use by a person with low blood pressure.
Lavender is also used to soothe inflamed skin. Try lavender for insect bites, minor burns or sunburns.
Lavender essential oil is steam distilled from the flowering tops of the plant.
You can use essential oils, for example, to make body oil. According to your preference, add a few drops of essential oil to a tablespoon (about 15 ml) of neutral skin care oil. For example, jojoba oil is well suited as an oil. Essential oil is also suitable for creating an atmosphere in, for example, a scented lantern. You can also carry your favorite fragrance with you in a diffuser necklace!
