Superpeptase 120,000 PC is a peptidase combination with a proteolytic, serrapeptase-like mechanism of action.

Peptidases (which belong to proteases) are a number of different enzymes that break down proteins. An enzyme that breaks down proteins is called a proteolytic enzyme. Two peptidases have been selected for the superpeptase 120,000 PC peptidase combination that achieve a similar proteolytic mechanism of action as serrathiopeptidase.

‍Superpeptase 120,000 PC differs from serrapeptase in its manufacturing method. Superpeptase peptidases have been prepared by Aspergillus melleus and Aspergillus oryzae fermentation, while serrapeptase peptidase (serratiopeptidase) has been produced by Serratia marcescens E15 fermentation. Both belong to peptidases (proteases) and are therefore proteolytic enzymes.
