Fish oil protects the heart and blood vessels. Fish oil, as free fatty acids, significantly reduces the concentration of blood-clotting fats, triglycerides, in the blood, according to a Finnish study. Water-soluble B vitamins contained in Bio-Marin Plus; folic acid and vitamin B12 are important for the heart and circulation, as they together are particularly effective in lowering blood levels of homocysteine, which is considered a risk factor for coronary heart disease and stroke.
