Juniper essential oil

Juniper essential oil has a sweet, fresh, woody balsamic scent. Refreshingly fresh juniper oil strengthens the feeling, is good for the muscles and promotes the flow of body fluids. Note that juniper oil is not suitable for people with kidney damage.

Did you know that juniper can live to be over a thousand years old? The berry-like cones of the coniferous tree, which is connected to the cultural history of Finland, are called juniper berries. Ripe juniper berries are deep blue. In Northern Europe, juniper berries have been used both as a spice and as a remedy. Juniper berries were used, among other things, to flavor beer consumed at harvest time. Juniper was also thought to protect against wild animals and evil spirits.

You can use essential oils, for example, to make body oil. According to your preference, add a few drops of essential oil to a tablespoon (about 15 ml) of neutral skin care oil. For example, jojoba oil is well suited as an oil. Essential oil is also suitable for creating an atmosphere in, for example, a scented lantern.
